OK, I think I found my next motocycle...

This thing is pretty cool. And I was originally going to settle with a measly flaming skull paint job! Silly Me!

Guess what?! It’s time for more old pictures! This is when it starts getting more interesting. Well, to me anyway...
So, I believe we last left off at the age of 18.
Here’s a fun pic from when an old friend of mine called me Spumoni girl because of my tri-colored hair. You can’t really see it in the picture but the black was growing out and I dyed burgundy over it and then my darker blond started growing in. Thus, Spumoni girl. Also, I had to put this pic in with Becky and her HUGE glasses! (It was 1990)
Next is me at 19 with my friend Marcel. Back to bleaching, which was pretty cool because it glowed under the black lights at First Ave. Yes, GLOWED! This was from the fun old days of frequenting First Avenue, The Saloon and other dance clubs around town with my predominantly gay group of friends. I suppose roughly half were straight but unfortunately for me at the time, very few of the men.
Some other random pics from that time…
and riding the giant bunny at the mini golf course next to the State Fair grounds. Is that even still there??
Wow, I used to be skinny. Oh, to be young again...A couple/few years later I got sick of the length and chopped off most of my hair again – and carried my baby kitty around in a bag while traveling back and forth to my ex’s place. Isn’t he cute!?
Got sick of the bleaching thing and went to a burgundy/red color again. The coordination with my pj’s for x-mas was a total coincidence.
Then I entered the corporate world and had to look normal – well, somewhat anyway. Oh well…
I am determined to once again bleach my hair out white and get the purple dread extensions I once had (when I had black hair) so that my hair will glow white and purple under the black lights at First Ave! I’ll probably do that around the same time as my next tattoos. Which won’t be until after babies since there’s nothing sexy about tattoos riddled with stretch marks. Yikes!19 September 2007

Hair Study
When I was going through photos, looking for pics of my hairy bastards, I came across a bunch of old pics. It was kind of fun looking at all the old hair styles and colors I had. So, since I have nothing better to write about at the moment, I’m going to take a trip down memory lane with my Hair Study - like anyone cares, but so what. It's my blog and I can do anything I want with it! ;)
First Installment (of two)
This is me and my long time best friend, Becky (on the left). It was around the beginning of our freshman year. This could be considered my baseline photo.
This is where it all began with the coloring. I thought I’d dye my hair auburn for fun since my naturally blond hair seemed to be darkening and I didn’t like that. Thus began the approximately 15 year span in which I never had a head of my natural hair, and so wasn’t quite sure what exactly the color was at that point. It’s a pretty dorky pic but it’s all I had.
I’m missing a pic with my light blond hair with the black fringe bang. That was my homage to the chick (Teri something?) of Berlin – the band. Remember them? I had a good pic but a boyfriend in high school thought it was hot and wanted it. So, like an idiot I gave it to him. Stupid boyfriend!
Anyway, the next pic I have is from my junior year in h.s. This one was taken on vacation in Orlando and features my mom in her oh-so-hideous 80’s top. Classy! This one would be from when I had started bleaching my hair white, and usually wearing bright blood red lipstick, and dark red or black nail polish with the black kohl eyeliner…
This next one is from right after graduation (from h.s.), after I had decided at work one day that I wanted to try the other end of the goth-type spectrum and go black. That is my friend Jennie on the left (and her new kitty). I had chopped my hair off and shaved the underside of my head between this time and the last photo, but did not find any decent pic from then. Maybe my mom has one…
I had to stick this one in too just because it’s kind of funny. I call it my Pink Floyd, The Wall pic. It was taken at Jennie’s graduation open house. I was eating cake, which featured icing roses in our school colors – silver and black.

My Hairy Bastards
Since Lena bo-bena has her hairy one pictured on her blog, I figured I better wrangle up some photos of mine. My hubby refers to our pets as the hairy bastards, and since I find it amusing, I do too. Well, here they are…
Hairy Bastard # 1
Tasman, aka Tas, Tas the Spaz, Orange Thing, and Pooky or Pooky-poo
He’s my first baby. I took him home when he was about 5 months old back in 1993. I had to use this picture because it amuses me so. See how happy he is in his holiday antlers?

Shilo, aka Durka Dog, Idiot, Spaz, and Psycho
He’s actually my third, but I still have to wrangle up a good pic of Tucker (the real #2). I’ll have to see if I have a better pic of Shilo too. Shilo came to us as a foster dog in 2004, about 6 months before our wedding. I had never had a dog before and didn’t know much about German Shepherds other than I thought they were pretty. Boy, was I in for a shock! He’s really a good dog though; a good guard.

Hairy Bastard # 3 (or actually 4)
My hubby aka Hands, Sweetie, Hon and Asshole! (ha ha, just kidding)
Sweetie came into my life in 2001. I can’t imagine my life without him. Here’s a pic of the two of us when we were dating. Wow, look at how long his hair is! And look at how completely stoned we look - especially me! Must have been exhausted from all the sex… ;)

Well, there they are. I’ll have to update it to add Tucker…
